The Baglio, a farm manor or masseria, is the typical style rural home built around a central courtyard with a quaint well, handed down through history. This style of architecture was developed in the Western Sicilian countryside, also thanks to the British entrepreneurs who introduced viticulture into the country in the 700’s. |
| Buseto Palizzolo is located midway on an ancient trail connecting two of the most important Elimi ethnic communities [5th century B.C] : Erice and Segesta. |
| In 827 the Arabic community revolutionized the surrounding area planning by introducing small property ownership, new cultures and new irrigation systems. |
